Client: La Plats du Chef

Objective: To develop a private label design for the US Costco and Canadian Costco Markets called Cuisine Adventures. The brand had to evoke contemporary French bistro style for the product line of gourmet appetizers. Working closely with the Costco marketing specialists and Costco buyers the brand was born. The boutique photograph style with the clean iconic logo communicates a touch of indulgence in the comforts of your own home.

 

Client: Pasta Fina

Objective: To develop a product line of authentic fine Italian cuisine. The design had to inspire the cultural Italian traditions of meal times spent together with family and friends. The fresh ingredients on the package tells the story of all natural locally sourced or imported from Italy...the kind your Grandma used to make.

Client: Cedarlane Foods

Cedarlane is a national brand manufacture of wholesome convenient foods. Cedarlane offers a wide range of entrees, salads and side dishes with ingredients that are flavorful and healthy. Objective: to develop a breakfast line to the health minded consumer that offers a low glycemic meal which is gluten free, high in protein and low in cholesterol. This light airy morning sunrise design implies the idea of starting the day off right with sustainable energy that makes you feel good to eat.

Client: FRANKLY FRESH

The hummus flavors were designed to target college students and other health minded consumers. These Non-alcoholic cocktail flavors had to be fun, hip and slightly irreverent to catch attention on the shelf and stand out from the crowd. The Hummus Cocktails name was derived from an array of unusual flavor profiles. Each thought provoking character tells a story. The Dirty Martini caricature is inspired by Marilyn Monroe as a savory olive flavor. Frankly Fresh Hummus Cocktails Won a Silver Medal Packaging Award from the American Ad Federation (Addy)

Client: Longitude World foods

Objective: To create a name and branding that communicated a variety of different European gourmet foods with regional distribution in California. The brand needed to extend across many different product lines from jarred pasta sauces to dressing, jams, salsas, cookies and more. The vintage stamps used in the logo from various countries tell a story of old world flavor while the clean modern look of the watercolor illustrations on a crisp white background suggests a twist of modern cuisine.

 

Client: California Creative Foods

Objective: To create a product line of fresh premium salsas in a retro style that resembled vintage fruit crates which are fondly remembered for authentic flavor and old-fashioned values. The big bold ripe fruits and vegetables depict American heritage of simpler times and comfort foods.
