Growing up in the Sierra foothills of California with a love for nature and the beautiful outdoors has surrounded me with inspiration and focus in my life. These landscapes and the world around us is an amazing place to grow the creative mind. The same principles in nature that shape patterns out of chaos and give us the diversity of life creates the essence of form in design. I see nature as a mentor that balances beauty with functionality. Design for me is creating a visual story.

Creating impactful visual communications that build brand identity and engage customers is one of my strengths. With over 20 years of experience in conceptual design, branding, food packaging, and wine labels I have an enthusiastic approach to solving problems and exceeding client needs. I have excellent time management and organizational skills. I am committed to delivering exceptional quality work in everything I do. Details and accuracy are very important to me because I always want to put forward my best work and I want the best outcome for my clients.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Information and Visual Communication studies with an emphasis in Graphic Design from California State University Chico as a deans honor student. For much of my career, I have worked as a Senior Graphic Designer at Sugarman Design Studio and currently freelance from my home office.
